NDIS Telehealth Services: Your Guide to Getting Started

Telehealth session with mother and son

Accessing NDIS services has never been easier!

At Thrive Health Therapies, we provide support in your home but we are also highly skilled in delivering services through Telehealth consultation. This allows our participants to still have the benefits of being managed by highly trained therapists in the convenience, comfort and safety of their own home or workplace.

Benefits of Telehealth

Telehealth is video-based face to face consultation with a therapist. Telehealth may be used for various reasons, such as being unable to be in close contact with a therapist due to infectious illness or to reduce travel time.

Telehealth does not replace in-person sessions but it does provide a useful alternative so that you can continue sessions and maintain your progress.

Telehealth is best suited to participants who have an ongoing relationship with one of our therapists. However, it may be appropriate in other circumstances. If you’re interested in finding out if this applies to you, please contact us.

How Does Telehealth Work

All you need is a device that can connect to the internet (any phone, tablet or desktop computer) with a camera, microphone and speaker.

Your therapist will send a Microsoft Teams meeting link or invitation to your email. Simply open the email, click on the link and your session will begin.

Thinking about booking a Telehealth session?

If you are an existing participant, your Thrive Health Therapies clinician will be able to guide you through the process to ensure you have a successful Telehealth session.
