About us
Thrive Health Therapies is Adelaide’s leading service provider of allied health services to children and adults. Our aim is to provide a quality service for our participants, supporting them to achieve their goals and actively participate in their communities. We provide services in our clinic at Findon as well as in the community.
The Role
The opportunity exists for an allied health assistant (students encouraged to apply) to join the team. The role is extremely flexible with casual and subcontractor positions available. The Allied Health Assistant may provide services both in the clinic and community.
The role is suited to someone who is highly motivated, independent, organised and passionate. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy building rapport with participants and their supports.
What to Expect
Implement therapy for individual participants and groups
Adapt activities to the participant’s level of function under the guidance of a therapist
Support the participant and their families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives
Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate computer based documentation
Skills and Requirements
Current enrolment in a Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy or Cert IV accreditation in Allied Health Assistance
A car and licence
A National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
